Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church (which I had renamed “Brokeback Mountain Church” years ago) and author of the book “The Purpose Driven Life” (aka “The Pervert-driven Life”), hosted “The American Family Outing” at his church yesterday in honor of Father’s Day.
One of the two “clergy leaders” includes the tattoo-covered son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Jay Bakker.
The seven “lead families” include three gay couples, two of which have children. There is one straight couple with children – talk about balance!
I think the only person more disgusting than all these is Dr. Jack Schaap of First Baptist Church in Hammond, IN, who calls himself a Bible-believing Baptist and yet condones Rick Warren. According to Dr. Schaap, there are things we can learn from Rick Warren because he knows how to lift up Christ, as evidenced by the large crowd of followers he has.

You are possibly the most judgemental person I have ever come across. You really need to focus on what YOU are doing to make this world better. Who cares as long as the “sodomites” don’t come to your church.

You say that Rick Warren “hosted” these people, but this is NOT true at all. The lost souls at “American Family Outing” are instigators who visit (read: infiltrate) churches in an attempt to “dialog” with them. None of the six churches targeted (including Warren’s) hosted these people in any way whatsoever. The Word says, “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him” and among those are “a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” You have misrepresented Warren here. No matter what theological problems Warren has (and he has many) that does not excuse your false witness before the Lord.
If a gay couple showed up at Faithful Word Baptist Church, could I accuse you of “hosting” perverts? Of course not.

Please read my comment about being judgmental in the post “Our new school room”. The reason why sodomites don’t come to our church is because we make no secret out of the fact that they are not welcome.

If a gay couple showed up at our church, they would not make it past the front door. Did you actually think they are allowed to attend the services – because they are not. To host someone means to put them up. Rick Warren KNEW that these people were coming, and didn’t try to stop them. The sodomites picked his church to go to because they KNEW that he would not stand up to them.

I thought being a Christian was all about love…I guess it is about judgement and insults, I thought God was the only true judge? Not “Faithful Word” Baptist Church

Where does it say that it is wrong to judge? You are revealing your ignorance of the Bible.
If I have said it once, I have said it a hundred times: God does not love everybody. You must have never read the Bible. We are commanded to love our enemies, but not God’s enemies. Sodomites are haters of God and have been rejected by God. They will never get saved.
Go ahead and love them all you want, have them in your church, and do whatever else you want. Just don’t visit my blog and tell my why I should do the same. This is one place where gays are not welcome, in fact, they are HATED.
Go to one of the many pro-gay websites, or go to Warren’s church instead.
