How to be a soulwinner

Below is a YouTube clip about how to present the gospel to an unsaved person through door-to-door soulwinning evangelism.

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” – Proverbs 11:30

  1. He did a great job on this. I remember when I was first married and wasn’t a practicing Christian we had a group come to our door in the morning. After the first sentence I said thank you and closed the door. I laugh now about it because I just wouldn’t do that today. I don’t think I could handle that type of rejection door after door.

People are blessed to do this soul winning because I could never do it. I’ve never been good and that stuff.

He’s doing a great job! God Bless!

  2. I don’t know if I were to be behind that door if that would work on me….. It just doesn’t seem genuine…..but that’s not to say I KNOW what I’d be doing:)!
I dislike door to door alot and know that many people do and it’s a turn off for them.

  3. Tereza,

you are right, there are many people who will not get saved like this. I was one of them – my husband explained the gospel to me dozens of times over the course of a year before it finally “clicked” and I got saved. This was before we were married or dating.

But there are many other people out there who are really wanting to be saved, but they don’t know how to. Jesus sent his disciples to go from house to house, preaching the gospel.

I think both door-to-door evangelism as well as witnessing to friends and family (aka the hard cases) is important.
